Robert Gardner statue dedication!

Last post for March! My family and the whole Gardner family came to St.George for the Robert Gardner statue dedication. Robert is the guy who settled St.George. He had four wives, and so the Gardner family is HUGE! One of the Gardner's is Elder Holland! So we started out at the Tabernacle and he spoke along with some others. This is right before they unveiled the statue...
Tadaa!!

FHE!!!

YES! This was back in March as well. FHE with food and Rock Band. Not a lot of people showed up unfortunately, so we had a lot of left over pizza and soda. Being an FHE leader I got to take some home, so that's always pretty sweet! :) Yeah we obviously planned for a lot of people since there was going to be food.

Breckens Graduation dinner!

Once again this was back in March the same day TJ and I got back from the temple trip. My old roommate Brecken graduated from esthetician school, and I put together this dinner outing... My friend Nates hand, Amanda, Me, and my roommates Kyla and Carly.
I don't remember this guys name, but here is Whitley, Neeley (she never smiles for the camera-nasty in this picture), Carly, and Kyla.

Whitley and Neeley (once again being nasty)...these are my old roommates from first semester.

Ginger, Brecken, and Logan.
Me, TJ, Kylie, Ginger, Brecken and Logan...there were other people at other tables, but I didn't really know them so I'm not putting the pictures on here. It was a really fun night, I took some fun videos. It's always fun to be with friends :)

Draper Temple trip!

A guy named TJ and I wanted to go up north to see the Draper temple during it's open house...this was back in March. Just us two went because no one else wanted to go. It was a long drive up because it snowed horribly! We pulled over, and almost turned around but we prayed and got to SLC safely. The next day we went to the temple. It was a three hour process. You couldn't go up the mountain and park by the temple. You had to park at like 1 of 5 church building locations. You sit in there and wait your turn to go to one room, and watch a video about temples. Then you get on a bus, and go up the mountain. It was a self-guided tour, and it was packed with people. It is a BEAUTIFUL temple. Three stories high, and gorgeous inside and out. The three hour wait was definitely worth it! :D On our way to finding a parking lot open I found this funny mailbox.
This was after the temple (these pictures are out of order) we went to a burger joint and found good ol' cruisin usa.

I got five scoops of ice cream for dessert! yummy! I ended up only eating two scoops...haha.

I took this picture while on the bus on our way down the mountain.

On the way back down the mountain from the temple.

Preference without the dance!

Preference! About a month ago I asked TJ to preference (see the cookie in the previous post). Well last Saturday was the day of the dance. It was a rodeo themed dance, so I went out and bought a new outfit and borrowed some boots from my friend. My friend and I decided to have a double date. We went bowling in the afternoon, and then the other couple had to go to their adult session of stake conference. So TJ and I came back to my apartment, and made a yummy dessert for after the dance, and it was so dang good! :D Now here are some of the pictures from the night. TJ and I right before we left for dinner. I decided to take him to the restaurant "Made in Brazil" it's like Tucanos. It's an all you can eat meat place, and other goodness. Here are some fun pictures...

They serve CHICKEN HEART!!! The boys liked it, but Erin and I were terrified to try it. I ate half and thought it was disgusting! I caught a picture of Erins face after she put it in her mouth and chewed it. She was disgusted as well.

We got very lucky this weekend! This weekend they were having their "carnival" like they have in brazil except there is no nudity. lol. There was a professional body painter from Vegas there, and so we got our faces painted. It was so fun, and so cool!

They are a cute couple, and I like how there faces were painted.

After we finished dinner, and were super full! Man I love that place! :D

After dinner we decided not to go to the dance, and we just went to my apartment and had the delicious dessert. Then we went to Erins house and played pool for a while until the TV downstairs was available. The boys played against each other, then Erin and I played against each other. That was an interesting story...

Man did we suck or what!? We would hit a ball in then take another shot, and would scratch so we would have to take the ball out. It was a never ending game. haha.

Funny moment...I was laughing about something, and Erin had her foot on the bottom of her stick then all of a sudden it fell. It's kinda confusing I know, and was a lot more funny than it sounds, but TJ happened to capture a photo in the middle of that moment. haha

Oh yeah, I'm looking all good, but I sucked. haha

I look like I'm instructing the ball or something, but it was right after I hit it.

Up close and personal shot of my face paint.

TJ taking a picture of his face paint.
Right before we watched a movie...The end.

A glimpse of the past two months...

So I am FINALLY updating this thing two months later to the date! Here are a few things I've been doing during that time... This semester the pep band (which I'm in) got to go to ARIZONA for a basketball game and play. It was a long 8 hour bus drive there, but it was worth it.
While there I got to see my uncle and two of my cousins! They live in Pheonix which is where I was, so it was perfect!

At the Mr.Dixie pageant! It's kinda like the homecoming or prom king thing. My friend Nolan won, and this is him with my friend Erin.

I couple weeks ago I asked TJ (he is in a picture after a few of these others) to the preference dance (girls ask guys), and this is how I asked him. I made a cookie the size of a MEDIUM pizza! It was huge! And he said yes back with a teddy bear and chocolates! :D

A little over a week ago I got to go to a 50 or 40 dollar plate dinner! It was so fun, and so nice. Marvin Goldstein even came and played it was a neat experience. Here are some pictures of what the dinner looked like.

The next night my old roommate Lindy (from last year) came and surprised me. It was so fun!!!!

Another old roommate Erica came to town that weekend too! Here are the three of us with another friend in my ward.

Playing Skip-Bo, and it was tons of fun!

My friend Kylie.
Everyone who was over to play Skip Bo that night!
My next post will be of this past weekend when I went up north for a dance competition.
