So this is my moment of glory, being in the newspaper. On Monday a girl that I work with asked me if she could take a picture of me, I said, "No, I don't like my hair today." Then she pleaded with me then I gave in and afterwards she told me that it was going to be in the school newspaper!!! I got excited, but at the same time worried. I didn't know what picture they'd be using so I just hoped that I looked somewhat decent. And I'm pleased with the picture. So I thought I'd share my small moment of glory...![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj53sJTlEjOtb9bzrCKhTPGLH5Z2kC7-oKdzmMPmBdPP0UQVFxrQ2u7Cs2eIcU3x3a_wtMbzn-Sox_kucd7jSh0QfyDKjHmPFMO-EWc1WQS_7w_om13ohmL5zdMMnqy4_tduJygHKDpMlg/s400/newspaper!+004.JPG)
Underneath the photo; there is, a small description about me and what I'm doing. If it's not legible for some this is what it says, "Freshman Alyssa Grossen, a nursing major from Ladera Ranch, Calif., takes a break from studying to re-pot a flower to take home to her apartment. Small potted flowers brighten a room and are easy for students to take care of.
