A month later!

So my Internet has been down for some reason, so I haven't been able to update my blog for a long time. I've also been so busy with only one week of school left then finals, so I haven't been able to take a break and get to the computer center at the school until today! So below I have added 6 new posts! Yes, there are 6 new posts! Sorry for the delay, but I'm just a busy woman these days! :)

Happy Birthday Stephanie!!!!

Yesterday was Stephs (one of my roommates) birthday and we had tons of fun celebrating it. She didn't want a party so we invited just a few friends over for her favorite dessert which is brownies with cookies n' cream ice cream. :) This is right before she opened the gift I got her which was silk pajamas! :)

This is the awesome card that I found for her! I don't recall everything else it said, but this was the best part of the card. lol.

Breakfast for four!

On Tuesday I made breakfast for two of my friends, a roommate and myself. We had cinnamon rolls with apples and strawberries. It was so fun to do this for these girl's and it was really yummy! From right to left going counter-clockwise- Katie, Calli and Stephanie( I was taking the picture, so I couldn't be in it). They are such great girl's and I'm going to miss them a lot!

Percussion Concert

On Monday I had my last perscussion concert and I got to play these fun, heavy and challenging drums. They are called the Tenors and there are 5 of them that are attached to a harness that I carry over my shoulders, as seen in the picture. I was really excited yet nervous to play these drums in front of an audience with two of my friends in the second row right in front of me. I ended up doing pretty good and enjoyed myself.
Can you tell I was happy? With that huge smile on my face?

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

Last Friday I went on a double date to see the play "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum." I went with Anthony and my roommate Stephanie went with her friend Mike. We had a lot of fun, it was a really funny play and I got a few cute pictures afterwards. My roommate Stephanie and I-cute girl's.

This is a picture of us four that went together and a random kid in my band and percussion class that jumped into the picture. Isn't Anthony a cutie? He was my first kiss-which happened that night. :D

Then after the play we were hungry so at 10:30 at night we picked up a pizza then went home and ate it. Afterwards we played cards and ate a really yummy ice cream cake that I made. Then we got super tired and ended our fun night. :)

Trip to Salt Lake City for General Conference

When it was conference weekend I was able to find a ride with my friend to go up north for conference, a date, see my dad and friends. I only have two pictures unfortunately, sorry. Here's how my weekend went though, it was really great. I left Friday afternoon and my grandma picked up me up when I got there and we met up with the youth of my home ward at a sandwich place called Spanky's. It was so exciting and a real treat to see my dad, my brother and the youth. Then that night we went to see the Joseph Smith movie at the Legacy Theater in Salt Lake. I actually saw it with a date, but my home ward was there too. He met my dad and whole ward before we went in to see movie. Then after the movie my ward went to the house they were going to stay at and my date-Anthony and I went to his hotel and I met his parents then he took me to my grandparents house which was were I was going to stay. It was a really great date, I had a good time. Then the next day I went to the morning and afternoon session of conference, and it was a neat experience to be there for the Solemn Assembly. In between both sessions we went to another sandwich place, but this time it was Gandolfos (I hope I spelled that right). After the afternoon session we went to Nielsens Frozen Custard and it was so yummy! Then the boys went to the priesthood session and the us girls went to the YW leaders sister's house and took a nap and some of us went shopping as well while we waited for the boys. We ended up meeting them at Cafe Rio for dinner and that was delicious! Then I went to my grandparents house and the youth left too. The next day I didn't get to attend the morning session so I just watched it at my grandparent's house, but I was able to attend the afternoon session. Afterwards I had to say my goodbyes to everyone because I was leaving in a few hours and the youth were going to dinner at some one's house. Obviously I had a busy fun trip and this wasn't everything I did, it was the major things but I did do other things too. I didn't want this to be too long of a blog post even though it already is. Anyways, I had a great time and I'm really grateful that I was able to go. :) The girl's and I at Spanky's.

Fun Sunday afternoon!

These are just some fun pictures that were taken a few Sundays back... I had just put some mint brownies in the oven and my roommate Stephanie, and I licked the bowl. This is a fun picture of us with the yummy batter on our lips.
These last two pictures were taken by roommate Courtney, and this is how we take naps in our apartment. Yes, we lay on each other and cuddle with that big stuffed animal. :)

This is Steph and our good friend Gary cuddling with the other huge stuffed animal. Honestly these things are so comfortable! When my roomies or I need some "cuddle time" we just grab the bear or dog and cuddle with them-funny, eh?
